Westchester Democrats Rally Behind Jenkins’ Proven Leadership and Vision for the County
(White Plains, NY) – On Wednesday night, the Westchester County Democratic Committee officially nominated Ken Jenkins for Westchester County Executive, solidifying their support for a candidate with decades of experience, a proven track record and a strong commitment to serving all Westchester residents. Joined by Congressman George Latimer, Ken was nominated by the Chair of the Rye City Democratic Committee, Danielle Epstein-Tagger, and the Chair of the Yonkers Democratic Committee, Tom Meier Sr., who seconded the nomination. This support underscores the unified confidence among local Democrats in Jenkins’ ability to lead Westchester County with integrity and vision.
The committee’s endorsement comes as Jenkins builds momentum leading into the upcoming special election on Tuesday, February 11th, with early voting beginning on Thursday, February 1st. Their trust in my leadership is both humbling and inspiring. Together, we’ve worked to make Westchester a place where families can thrive, businesses can grow and communities are strengthened. As County Executive, I am committed to continuing this work and ensuring that Westchester remains a model of progress, equity and opportunity. With the support of the Democratic Party and our residents, I know we can continue Moving Westchester forward.”
